Established in 2021, The Hong Kong Foundation for the University of Edinburgh Limited is a subsidiary company of the University of Edinburgh, based in Hong Kong.

Your gift to the Foundation can support current priorities including student exchange between the Hong Kong universities and the University of Edinburgh, or deepening our research collaborations in Hong Kong in areas such as stem cell biology.

Gifts can also be tailored to meet specific areas of shared interest or to support other forms of partnership across Hong Kong, Macau, the Greater Bay area and the PRC more widely. Please get in touch with us to explore how your philanthropy can make a lasting, profound change to students and researchers in partnership with the University.

The Hong Kong Foundation for the University of Edinburgh has charitable status under s88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance and therefore donations to the Foundation are eligible for tax benefits similar to those received when giving to any other educational or charitable organisation in Hong Kong. Hong Kong citizens wishing to receive an income tax receipt must provide their identity number to the Foundation.
